[Blueprint installing-ubuntugnome-wiki-page] Installing Ubuntu GNOME Wiki Page

Blueprint changed by Ivan Ivanov:

Whiteboard changed:
[jamesvorder] This page should be as complete as possible. It should contain information about installing in all three ways (wipe drive, side-by-side, and advanced).
The installation of Ubuntu GNOME is the spot where most new potential users get hung up. Ironically, a lot of the time they give up because they don't know how to make the installation media with their original OS. That's why it's important for us to make as comprehensive a guide as possible.

[amjjawad] this is what I have in mind. The installation section to cover installing Ubuntu GNOME as a Solo System or wipe everything installed. Side-by-Side (AKA Dual-Boot) and Manual Approach.

[amjjawad] IMHO, this must be the priority for Ubuntu GNOME Wiki & Docs Team. Once this is complete AND IF we do have more time, we can do something else but from now (2-Jan-2014) until releasing Trusty Tahr (April-2104), completing this task is this team priority :)

[jamesvorder] Ali, the way that we did the AutoInstallation page seemed to work well. You put attachments on the page en masse, and I or Ivan can caption them. The important first step is to make the necessary pages (maybe Installation/SideBySide and Installation/Manual) and to populate them with screenshots. This would put us on track to be finished really soon with this section.

  [amjjawad] consider it done ;)

[amjjawad] this page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGNOME/Installation/SideBySide is not really like this: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGNOME/Installation/AutoInstallation when it comes to screenshots. Both should be the same. However, let's keep it as it is for now. Whenever we're free to make them both look good, we can always go back and do this but what does matter is, we have a page and it is ready so the polish can be done anytime :)
  As always, keep it up!

[amjjawad] With the impressive progress we have on the Installation page
(great job everyone :D) ... now, it is time for Phase 2 or the final
  phase :)

1- I need to review the whole pages Installations + the 3 sub-pages
2- Once done and mark the blueprint (this one) as complete/implemented, we need to send it to our team and maybe publish it on our social media to ask for feedback
3- We will have lots of time until the release date to polish each and every Wiki Page (not just the installation section) and do whatever needed

When Ubuntu GNOME 14.04 will be released, we will have the most powerful
and informative Wiki Area ever :D

  Sound like a good plan?

[jamesvorder] +1 Sounds like a good plan to me. I've started the
process of resizing the images on the side by side and manual
installation pages to be consistent with the auto page. There are a few
more things that need to be done to make them more consistent.

I especially like your idea of sharing the pages on social media for
criticism. That'll be really helpful, and is really the Ubuntu way of
  doing things.

[inivanoff1] Sounds perfect. We can focus on polishing the pages at any
  moment.
