Ahem sorry to all I did not read the last ten or so comments.

Having more carefully read through them, and having re-read the earlier
notes, I have (I believe) a more useful question.

Would it not be reasonable to mention on the release notes and related
pages that it may be possible to use usb-creator-gtk on a 14.04 system
to make a 14.10 bootable usb stick provided that the user is prepared to
type "live" when informed that gfxboot.c32 is not bootable, or is
prepared to copy the gfxboot.32 file from the 14.04 system onto the usb
stick prior to use?

  机器型号:dell  Inspiron-560s
  现    象:用U盘制作启动盘,不能启动,提示信息:gfxboot.c32: not a COM32R Image boot: 见附件图片

  this bug is similar with Bug #645818, but we cannot confirm whether
  they are the same.  If we type "live" and press enter, we can enter
  live mode.
