Re: Ubuntu One on Karmic KDE
Ok, hadn't all the needed packages. Thanks!!
However the applet does:
$ ubuntuone-client-applet
0xZZZZZZZ: DesktopApplication::sendRemoteMessage:
openURL(https://ubuntuone.com/oauth/authorize/?oauth_token=ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ&description=ZZZZZZ,new-page)
0xZZZZZZZ: DesktopApplication::sendRemoteMessage: 1
opera: Activated running instance
I accept and then the applet exits. Restarting it repeats the behaviour.
Trying the command-line:
$ u1sync --authorize
0xZZZZZZZ: DesktopApplication::sendRemoteMessage:
openURL(https://ubuntuone.com/oauth/authorize/?oauth_token=ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ&description=HOSTNAME,new-page)
0xZZZZZZZ: DesktopApplication::sendRemoteMessage: 1
opera: Activated running instance
Authentication failed: Unable to obtain OAuth token.
Copying the URL to Firefox results in Firefox getting stuck in something
like:
http://localhost:ZZZZZZ/?nonce=ZZZZZZZZ&oauth_token=ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ&oauth_verifier=ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ&return=https://one.ubuntu.com
Reloading the page results in "Server not found".
Any ideas?
[Thanks again for the help with the missing package ;)]

I'm not doing that: I'm running ubuntuone-client-applet from the
ubuntuone-client-gnome package, which takes care of starting
ubuntuone-syncdaemon.
The applet icon shows up in the tray bar, files are synced, all seems ok.
