Title:
Can't use Gimp's menu bar when Unity's behavior is set to "Show the
menus for a window" "In the window's title bar"

Status in “gimp” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
With Ubuntu 14.04 using the default Unity desktop system, when the
System Settings => Appearance => Behavior setting for "Show the menus
for a window" is set to "In the window's title bar", Gimp's menus are
are not usable. Attempting to use them only lets you move the window
around (normal behavior for an 'empty' title bar). The menus are
there, but you can't click on them. We really don't like the
MacOS/Finder behavior of the single menu bar at the top and would
prefer the more 'traditional' Gnome menu bar on each toplevel window.
It works for other applications (eg Firefox), but not for Gimp.

I expected to be able to use gimp's menus, specificly the File menu,
but instead it did not work and all it would let me do is more the top
  level around the screen.
