  attempting to import files from folder and all files are gray

Status in “shotwell” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  I am unable to import photos. I can browse folders of files that are
  not in my library and all files are gray. Cannot select any. this just
  started happening. Program and files already in library seem fine.
