Hi, unfortunately we did not have a MOTU that would be able to upload on our behalf.  So we were at the whim of the Ubuntu community looking at our packages.  So, only 1.0.2 is out, and available.
That said, I built this PPA for you if you want to test it out.

We also just recently had a friend from Ubuntu Studio become a MOTU, so
LMMS will be able to be updated much easier now.
