Title:
  shotwell shows incorrect time

Status in “shotwell” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Shotwell shows a photo being shot at 11:11 although the original EXIF data give the time as 23:11. By default, the dconf key org.yorba.shotwell.preferences.ui.use-24-hour-time was set to false ("…should use AM/PM notation"). However it displays the time without AM/PM (at least under German locale).
When enabling the dconf key, it still does not use the 24 hour format.

This is in so far a problem that the 12 hour format is (at least
  without Anglo-Saxon AM/PM) incorrect.

Preferably Shotwell should make use of the system-wide setting for the 12/24 hour format, which is automatically derived from the localization.
For comparison see the documentation for com.canonical.indicator.datetime.time-format="locale-default"
