[Bug 766710] Re: Add ability to mix to mono
It would be even nicer if I could pick between mixing to mono, or
listening to only the right or left channel in both sides of my
headphones (sometimes one channel is garbage and the other is decent),.

Title:
Add ability to mix to mono
Status in “pavucontrol” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: pavucontrol
Please add the ability to mix to mono. Preferably as conveniently as
I can enable and disable muting (maybe in the indicator applet?).
I often come across audio on the internet (youtube) where it's obvious
the creator never listened to it through headphones - the left and
right channels are horribly imbalanced. It would be nice to just
listen to that stuff in mono.
