Title:
Sooperlooper segfaults when launched from slgui
Status in “sooperlooper” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Status in “sooperlooper” source package in Karmic:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
Binary package hint: sooperlooper
On Ubuntu Feisty, when I run slgui, it tries to launch a sooperlooper
engine (as it should) and fails.
Taking the command displayed on the console and running it shows a segfault:
roger@cheese:~$ sooperlooper -U osc.udp://cheese:10160/ -p 9951 -l 1 -c 2 -t 40 -m "/home/roger/.sooperlooper/default_midi.slb"
SooperLooper 1.0.8c
Copyright 2005 Jesse Chappell
OSC server URI (network) is: osc.udp://cheese:9951/
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
After some trial and error, removing the -U osc.udp://cheese:10160/
solved the problem, and of course, running sooperlooper before slgui
is a suitable workaround, but figured it's worth reporting. :)
Not sure what this -U option is, sooperlooper --help doesn't mention
it.
