[Bug 1294056] Re: Qjackctl systray icon shows no menu
The QjackCtl system tray menu works in Ubuntu Gnome 14.10 once the
extension "TopIcons" is installed, so it appears as though the issue
only occurs under the Unity DE.

Title:
Qjackctl systray icon shows no menu
Status in “qjackctl” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I enabled the "Enable systray icon" in Setup/Misc. The icon appears
just fine, it stays there when I close the main QJackCtl windows.
When I click the systray icon, it reacts by showing a sunken border of
the icon, but no menu appears below it. When I close the main QJackCtl
windows, a notification appears saying "Information - JACK Audio
Connection Kit. The program will keep running in the system tray. To
termina the program, please choose "Quit" in the context menu of the
system tray icon." There is no context meny of that icon appearing.
Other systray programs (skype, quicksynergy) show their menus withou
any problem.
