The package name has been updated to :  libjack-jackd2-dev

sudo apt-get install libjack-jackd2-dev

Is this correct?

Bug description:
  In Ubuntu Trusty I got the following error when trying to install
  libjack-dev

  
  sudo apt-get install libjack-dev
