Install the package gvfs-backends resolves the issue :)
sudo apt-get install gvfs-backends

Bug description:
I am trying to use the "Import Clip Art..." feature in inkscape 0.91,
installed in a Kubuntu 14.04 from the following ppa repository:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/inkscape.dev/stable/ubuntu trusty main
$ apt-cache policy inkscape
inkscape:
Installed: 0.91.0+40~ubuntu14.04.1

The "Import Clip Art" dialog comes up, but no matter what I search I get no results.
The following error is printed in the console:
