Title:
[jaunty] 2GB filesize limit on 32-bit Ubuntu

Status in blender package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: blender

Generating a raw avi from Blender on 32-bit Ubuntu Jaunty current
results in a broken output file.

Using blender as a video editor I strung together a number of images
with transition effects. The resolution is 1280x720 and there are over
750 frames. Basically any movie of that duration and size should be
about the right size. 750 frames comes in just under 2GB in size and
results in an avi file which is fine and can be processed and viewed
in other apps. If you go too far over 750 frames (at that size) you
end up with a video exactly 2GB in size. It seems that blender
probably "wraps" the file, thus overwriting itself.

I can provide a tarball of a .blend if required to duplicate this.
