Your bluetooth device will likely register as a USB device and you could also post the result of
dmesg | grep firmware

Title:
No Audio Played on Bluetooth Devices when Output is Set to Telephony
Duplex (HSP/HFP)
Status in pavucontrol package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
This is currently occurring with pavucontrol 2.0-2, and pulseaudio
1:4.0, under Xubuntu 14.04.2 and Xfce 4.12.
Simply, the only way I can get audio playing on Bluetooth devices is
by setting it to A2DP (High Fidelity Playback). If I switch it to
HSP/HFP, I hear the sound for less than a second, then it goes
completely mute. Strangely PulseAudio Volume Control will show it as
streaming to the device. I've checked the volume and it doesn't matter
whether it's at 1% or 100%. No sound after a few milliseconds.
