As a matter of policy, the Ubuntu repository provides only security
updates within a Ubuntu version.  Thus, you will not see version 2 in
the Ubuntu repositories.

However, you can get version 2.0.0 by adding a PPA.
https://launchpad.net/~mscore-ubuntu/+archive/ubuntu/mscore-stable .
There may also be a 2.0.2 PPA coming.
