  audacity crashed with SIGSEGV in Meter::IsMeterDisabled()

Status in audacity package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: audacity

  Started Audacity the first time, odd noise and input and output meters
  went crazy. Shut down Audacity and restarted it, had just selected
  monitor mic again when it crashed.

  Lenovo S10e Netbook.
  Karmic Beta + distribution updates as of 12/10/09.
