  Cannot create a disjoint selection with the keyboard

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: shotwell

  It currently doesn't seem possible to create a disjoint selection on
  the browse view with the keyboard.

  The normal way this would work is to hold down <ctrl>, move the
  selection around with the arrow keys, and add a photo to the selection
  with the <space> bar.
