Title:
kdenlive 0.7: CPU usage it very high in idle state
Status in kdenlive package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
I've installed the new kdenlive packages on Jaunty. Kdenlive has a very high CPU usage, even in idle state as long as the winow has got the focus: In most cases it takes 59-63% and also lifts Xorg up to 26-32% on a CoreDuo 1.6 GHz machine for doing nothing at all.
As soon as the window looses focus (it doesn't depend if it keeps shown or not) the CPU usage is low again (under 10% for all processes together).
I guess the kdenlive window is redrawn far too often. If the
Clipmonitor is open then there is a flickering line under the "C" of
the tab title "Clipmonitor".
