[Bug 1064030] Re: Need to add Opus Support to Audacity
You may also try Avdshare Audio Converter.
It can direclty play Opus or edit Opus audio.
It also can convert Opus audio to other audio format like MP3, AAC, WAV, WMA, AIFF, M4A etc.
Here is the easy guide http://www.avdshare.com/opus-converter-to-mp3-aac-flac-ac3-wav-wma-ogg

Title:
Need to add Opus Support to Audacity
Status in Audacity:
Confirmed
Status in audacity package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
Opus ( http://opus-codec.org/ ) is an open source standard to which
I'd like to export my audio files.
You can fully install opus using:
sudo apt-get install opus-tools
After installing opus-tools, I don't see opus as an option in
Audacity.
Since opus is an open source standard, that claims superior
performance, I'd like to see it as supported export option in audacity
for the upcoming Ubuntu release.
