[Bug 1659127] Re: csound is in conflict with ITSELF (package in synaptic)
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.
I saw the related question
(https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/csound/+question/446666)
and also wonder which version you are trying to install. Fwiw, I tried
to install csound on an Ubuntu 16.04 system, but I did not get any error
messages like this.
Could you please run the following command in a terminal (it will automatically gather debugging information):
apport-collect 1659127
When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-

Title:
csound is in conflict with ITSELF (package in synaptic)
Status in csound package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
when i checked the properties of csound (which else packages are
needed, etc...) i found written there "in conflict with: csound".
its somehow really funny and melancholic. Why does this package stand
in conlfict with ITSELF???? - i thought this would be something rather
humans do than packages.
But this way its really no use...
1)16.04 LTS
2)1:605~dfs91build1
3)i expected i would be able to install csound, to make it run
4) it doesn´t run. probably because csound is in conflict with itself
