[Bug 1676443] Re: Pitivi doesn't recognize its debug command line option

Please report the problem upstream so we can keep track of it.
https://phabricator.freedesktop.org/tag/pitivi/

If you want to report bugs you notice, please use the flatpak version to be able to use the latest stable which is 0.98 at the moment, so you don't report problems which have already been fixed. BTW, We are working on releasing 1.0, meaning we focus on bugfixing.

Title:
  Pitivi doesn't recognize its debug command line option

Status in pitivi package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  PiTiVi 0.95-1 man says there is a debug option (I interpret it is a trace tool) called -d or --debug.
  But it seems this option is not recognized or not implemented.

  OPTIONS
   -d, --debug
    Run pitivi in the Python Debugger

  It returns:

  $ pitivi -d
  Option inconnue -d

  $ pitivi --debug
  Option inconnue --debug

  Translation > Unknown option
