[Bug 1703070] [NEW] Certain wireless routers will not connect with Ubuntu 16.04

Public bug reported:

Since installing Ubuntu 16.04 2 64bit, I have not been able to connect
to my wireless router at home without the help of a usb wifi dongle. The
connection was fine before I changed my OS from Windows to Ubuntu. I
tried every possible settings change I could think of, but nothing
worked, I just kept being asked for the password again and again. Oddly,
the laptop will still connect to some other wireless signals as usual,
just not my Qwest one at home (and yes, I know that the password is
absolutely correct).

** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
