Title:
Inkscape Displays Blank Dialog During Filter (Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon)
Status in Inkscape:
Invalid
Status in Linux Mint:
New
Status in inkscape package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
OS is Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon with all system updates as of 05-03-2012.
After embedding a PNG file into a new document and applying a filter
to a single object, Inkscape produces a small notification dialog, but
does not crash. The filter does not always perform successfully. It is
possible to save the affected file, but the dialog box does not
disappear.
Corrective step taken: Re-installed Inkscape. The behavior worsened,
displaying nothing instead of the default grey gradient used by Linux
Mint.
All that should be need to reproduce the bug is the latest updated
version of Linux Mint 13 running Cinnamon and a blank, unsaved SVG
with an embedded PNG file. The version is Inkscape 0.48.3.1 r9886.
Thank you.
