There are over 250 commits since 0.98. Anyway, you'll need to ask Ubuntu
Studio if they want this update now. (We are almost in Final Freeze for
17.10).

Bug description:
  First Pitivi 1.0 rc “Ocean Big Chair” (0.99) was released at September
  22 and is already packaged in Debian unstable - I'm pasting
  debian/changelog since 0.98.1 version which is currently in Ubuntu
  artful:

    * debian/patches/0001-Don-t-require-gst-validate-to-be-available.patch:

  Explanation of FeatureFreeze exception:
  0.99 release is just big bugfix, no new features, but many bug fixes and performance improvements, test suite grew considerably, from 164 to 191 meaningful unit tests, see https://git.gnome.org/browse/pitivi/log/?h=1.0

  Please sync Pitivi packages from Debian unstable before 17.10 release.
