This bug occurs when I add the PPA add-apt-repository ppa:otto-
kesselgulasch/gimp repository and install the most current Gimp package.
As a fix, I forcefully install gimp-plugin-
registry_7.20140602ubuntu3_amd64.deb through this command below:

~$ sudo dpkg --force-all -i /var/cache/apt/archives/gimp-plugin-
registry_7.20140602ubuntu3_amd64.deb

Then fix the dependencies:
~$ sudo apt install -fy
