This should now be more than a wishlist item as this is a major release
that happened it November. The new version fixes a bug that causes DAWs
such as Ardour and Qtractor to crash. This needs to be packaged
immediately. If I have to do it myself, I will. https://github.com/calf-

  Calf Studio Gear version 0.90.0 was released on November 4, 2017
  (https://github.com/calf-studio-gear/calf/releases). Upstream Debian
  is seemingly aware of this, yet it has not yet landed in Unstable,
  though the Debian Multimedia Team is aware (see
  https://salsa.debian.org/multimedia-team/calf and
  https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/calf).
