[Bug 1787504] [NEW] Global menu in Unity shows « Unkown Application Name » for some applications …Bionic
Public bug reported:
Hi,
Ubuntu 18.04 with Unity.
Where the name of application is expected in global menu ( or locally
integrated menu )
Unknown Application Name
shows instead.
It happened 2-3 first times I opened Nautilus.
It seems permanently « broken » with LibreOffice writer but looks ok
with calc or impress…

If launched from terminal writer has its correct name in global menu.
coeurnoir-1804@ASGARD:~$ libreoffice --writer
javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!
Please ensure that a JVM and the package libreoffice-java-common
is installed.
If it is already installed then try removing ~/.libreoffice/3/user/config/javasettings_Linux_*.xml
Warning: failed to read path from javaldx
coeurnoir-1804@ASGARD:~$
I did the recommended installations ( JVM + libreoffice-java-common )
and removed ~/.libreoffice/4/user/config/javasettings_Linux_*.xml which
did not change anything.
