Title:
  LyX package too big in Precise (relative to Lucid)

Status in lyx package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  The LyX package is too big in size (~750MB) while on Lucid  it is less than 20MB. Possible reason is either one or a combination of:
  1) LyX for Precise is in active development
  2) too many packages ebing installed (see packages below)
