[Bug 671026] Re: HDSPMixer crashes with error: "Segmentation fault"

 

Wow, eight years gone and bug still exists. However, those audiostreams
from the card are alive and recordable.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: alsa-tools

  HDSPMixer crashes with error: "Segmentation fault" if input and output channel numbers are different (e.g. if only expansion card AI4S 192 AIO is installed)
  -  installed HDSP9632: 
     =>everything is working fine
  -  added expansion board AI4S 192 AIO to get 4 additional analogue inputs:
     => HDSPMixer crashes immediately after start with error "Segmentation fault"

  first: used ubuntu studio 9.04. 
  updated to 10.04 and 10.10 without change of behaviour
