Title:
Pcitures have worng (and long expired) thumbnails
Status in shotwell package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I have shotwell showing a lot of wrong thumbnails. Many of the photos shown in thumbnails should not be in the database any longer, since they were removed a long time ago. Clicking these thumbnails reveals that they do not refer to the picture shown, but a completely different one.
From the tags attached to the picture it is obvious that the thumbnail is wrong, not the picture attached to it.
So the question is: How could the database get into that state, where pictures in the library have wrong thumbnails (showing pictures long ago removed). This state is very disturbing. How can it be fixed?
