  Installing dssi-vst causes numerous other packages to be removed

Bug description:
  I tried to install dssi-vst package on a fully updated 64-bit Ubuntu
  Studio 12.04 system with this command:

  sudo apt-get install dssi-vst

  The resulting output is:

  Reading package lists... Done
  Building dependency tree
  Reading state information... Done
  The following extra packages will be installed:
    jackd2 jackd2-firewire libjack-jackd2-0 libjack-jackd2-0:i386 liblo7:i386
    libsamplerate0:i386
  Suggested packages:

  The following packages will be REMOVED:
    ardour dssi-host-jack dssi-utils fluidsynth-dssi hexter jackd1 jamin
    libjack-dev libjack0 liblo-dev liblo7 qtractor sooperlooper
    ubuntustudio-audio-plugins ubuntustudio-generation ubuntustudio-recording
    ubuntustudio-video whysynth xjadeo xsynth-dssi
  The following NEW packages will be installed:

    liblo7:i386 libsamplerate0:i386

  Answering yes causes numerous packages to be removed, including
  ardour.
