Bug description:
As Canonical is no longer maintaining the indicator-* libraries, and
due to a bug associated with xfce4-volumed (bug 1291855) freezing when
PulseAudio is restarted, we need to drop the following packages from
  the Ubuntu Studio seed:

   - xfce4-volumed
   - indicator-sound
   - indicator-application

In addition, we need to add the following to the seed:

   - xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin
   - xfce4-statusnotifier-plugin

This should get the panel in alignment with Xubuntu's default panel
and relieve Ubuntu Studio's panel from deprecated plugins. Work is
being done to ubuntustudio-default-settings to accommodate this
  alignment.
