  [Feature Request] Multilayer Tiff file format

Status in gimp package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Currently, Gimp imports the multilayer Tiff file format as a flat
  Tiff. Please add support for this. I dont want to resort to photoshop
  in my workflow.
