[Bug 1247685] Re: Package was not compiled with Unity support

Ancient version of darktable, and a wishlist item. Ubuntu 13.10 is long
since EOL. Since Unity is no longer being actively developed, I highly
doubt this is a priority for the Darktable developers. Closing.

** Changed in: darktable (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid

Title:
  Package was not compiled with Unity support

Status in darktable package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Expected behavior: Lengthy operations such as large imports and
  exports should get a progress bar on the Unity launcher tile,
  mirroring the progress bar within the program's GUI

  Actual behavior: No progress bar appears on the launcher tile for any
  operation

  Recommended fix: compile the package with the -DUSE_UNITY=On
  parameter. See http://darktable.org/redmine/issues/9663#change-23757
  for more info.
