[Bug 1878578] Re: Some menu icons are missing

 

Due to the increased strictness in librsvg 2.48, some of the otherwise
valid icons will not render, due to missing xlink namespace
declarations.

This was fixed, among other things, in this commit:
https://github.com/mypaint/mypaint/commit/9a1ed517c23287e081ede942ab15bac8c61914eb

Only the part of the patch that updates the icon svg's is necessary to
resolve this.

I don't know when/if the mypaint package will be updated, but a release
candidate for 2.0.1 should be released within the week.

Bug description:
  1. Ubuntu 20.04 LTS + Cinnamon

  2. Package: mypaint
  Architecture: amd64
  Version: 2.0.0-2

  4. Some icons on the menu panel are missing; this is reproducible on
  both Adwaita and MateFaenza icon sets.

  Also checked on the fresh-installed Ubuntu 20.04 in the virtual
  machine with default DE, the same issue appeared.
