[Bug 1881184] [NEW] Blender ist compiled without Open Image Denoise

 

Public bug reported:

When I try to use the Intel Open Image Denoise in Blender 2.82a by
adding a Denoise node on the Compositing tab, the node appears, but it
is nonfunctional and displays the text "Disabled, built without
OpenImageDenoise".

The problem does not occur when I use the binary downloaded from the
blender.org website instead of the Ubuntu package.

Not sure if this is relevant and helpful, but apparently Fedora has had
a similar problem earlier this year; see:
