[Bug 1882121] [NEW] The ORA importer/exporter is not in the package anymore
Public bug reported:
System information:
Ubuntu 20.04 LTS - 32 GB RAM - Ryzen 7 2700
package gimp-plugin-registry=9.20180625ubuntu2 from the universe repository
it should have the OpenRaster (.ORA files from MyPaint) importer/exporter:
[19:37] [9019] [patola@risadinha patola]% apt-cache show gimp-plugin-registry | grep -A 3 -B 3 -i openraster
* lqr (0.7.1): Liquid Rescale
Content-aware rescaling. Keeps the features of the image while
rescaling along a single direction.
* openraster (20110529-1d32622): OpenRaster load/save handler
OpenRaster is an effort by the Create project[1] to offer a standardized
and open interchange format for raster-based applications. This plugin
allows one to load and save files in the OpenRaster format.
* planet-render (1-2): Planet Render
Creates a planet. Color, size and sun orientation
can be set.
But it doesn't, directory /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins doesn't have it:
[19:37] [9021] [patola@risadinha patola]% dpkg -L gimp-plugin-registry | grep /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/dbp
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/fix-ca
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/gimp-lqr-plugin
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/gimpmask
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/plug_in_lqr_iter
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/plugin-heal-selection.py
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/plugin-heal-transparency.py
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/plugin-map-style.py
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/plugin-render-texture.py
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/plugin-resynth-enlarge.py
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/plugin-resynth-fill-pattern.py
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/plugin-resynth-sharpen.py
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/plugin-uncrop.py
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/resynthesizer
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/resynthesizer_gui
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/separate
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/separate_import
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/streak
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/wavelet-denoise
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/webexport
The save version of gimp 2.10.18-1 in snap format has this plugin working correctly.
Of course, the openraster importer/export is also not in gimp=2.10.18-1 deb.
