latest Ubuntu version and re-test. If you then find the bug is still

  std:bad_alloc while adding new instrument

Status in hydrogen package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: hydrogen

  I have ubuntu 10.10.
  When I put new instrument and go to layer and choose aif file, hydrogen crahes always. [see 1]
  If I choose flac file, it gives me an error:
