Title:
Real Time Clock (rtc) is not prioritized properly
Status in rtirq package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
I tested this on 64 bit Karmic, 64 bit Jaunty, and 32 bit Karmic. The rtirq script only prioritizes the real time clock if the names_list setting is changed from 'rtc' to 'rtc0'. I asked the developer about it here:
http://www.rncbc.org/drupal/node/107
And he told me to update my script as this has been fixed some time ago. Please update the script for all Ubuntu users, this is a fairly serious flaw in real time scheduling.
