[Bug 649583] Re: MOTU 828 Mk2 works but the sound is noisy, like buzzing.

>From FFADO maintainer:

Bug: Buzzing from MOTU 828 Mk2

   Suggestion:
This was probably caused by the use of a generic kernel (neither
"lowlatency" or "rt"). No further information is available. Given
the age of the report the bug should probably just be closed.

Title:
MOTU 828 Mk2 works but the sound is noisy, like buzzing.

Status in libffado package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
In Marveric Beta, I can connect to my MOTU 828 Mk2 with old firewire
stack (raw1394, ohci1394, ieee1394) and I got the sucess to work it
with jackd2. But the sound is the worst. It's like buzzing and often
  nothing.

In Lucid, I can get better sound with this device. I know this is a
result of developer's great work of reverse engineering. I hope this
  device works good in marveric.
