[Bug 1965658] Re: Installation failed - Calamares fails to create partition

 

Considering nobody touched Calamares since January, I'm pretty sure
we're going to see the same problem. This might be related to
https://github.com/calamares/calamares/issues/1885, in which the KDE
Neon devs found a solution:

I might be able to fix this with that little nugget there, but it might
not affect Lubuntu, so I'm going to have to test it in the calamares
settings package.

  Installing Ubuntu Studio Jammy daily ISO 19-03-2022
  Device tested Dell Optiplex 7040 in UEFI mode

  The installer crashes when attempting to create new partition = see
  attached screenshot
