[Bug 1330527] Re: Inkscape: unable to access all objects after ungroup
Hi - thanks for reporting this bug
I replicate in 0.48.0 Windows 11 (actually if you keep ungrouping, the
grey factory does indeed come back) and is no longer a problem in 0.92.4
Windows 11, or Inkscape 0.92.5 (0ad1ac969f, 2020-08-06) Linux Mint 20
Closing as fixed.
Please feel free to file new bugs about the issues you're seeing at

Title:
Inkscape: unable to access all objects after ungroup
Status in Inkscape:
Fix Released
Status in inkscape package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
After ungrouping, I am unable to access all objects. It seems one of
them disappears completely.
I am attaching the incriminated file.
After playing around a bit with that, I managed to access the "sky"
part (Earth, ray arrows...) by "Object -> Clip -> Release".
But there is still at least one object missing - the gray factories
background. I am unable to access that.
