[Bug 938751] Re: Images are washed out or colors are skewed in some apps (particularly Image Viewer and Chrome)
You don't need to remove a colour profile to fix the problem, just
disable it:
1. Settings > Colour > turn off the toggle switch for your monitor.
2. Restart any affected apps.
** Bug watch added: gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues #4492
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/4492
** Changed in: gnome-shell
Remote watch: gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues #3033 => gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues #4492
** Description changed:
Images are washed out or colors are skewed in some apps, notably
Chrome/Chromium and Image Viewer (eog).
Workaround:
- Settings > Devices > Colour >
