[Bug 2003731] Re: ssh logins as other users kills autojack session on desktop

Oh no, you just reported this for the wrong package. You can't report
this for the operating system as a whole.

Can you please edit the bug description to better explain what it is
you're trying to do? It might be that this isn't a bug but a support
request, which would change this to be invalid, in which case you need
to seek support options.

Title:
ssh logins as other users kills autojack session on desktop

Status in ubuntustudio-live:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  Ubuntu Studio 22.04 Jammy, x86_64, Linux daw1 5.15.0-58-lowlatency
  #64-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT Fri Jan 6 03:36:28 UTC 2023 x86_64 x86_64
  x86_64 GNU/Linux

  Fresh install, all pkgs updated.

After installing openssh-server, adding a user, ssh logins as a user
different from desktop session stops the jack session running for the
desktop user and starts autojack session for the ssh login user.
  Includes ssh logins as root.

Current workaround for me was to run systemctl edit --user
studio.service and change to ExecStart=/bin/true for each user using
ssh other than the desktop user.

ssh logins as the desktop user do not stop or restart jack session
while the desktop is logged in.
