Bug description:
The developers of gimp have recently released their first release
candidate of the long anticipated gimp 3. The deb packaged version of
gimp will be updated to gimp 3 for Ubuntu 25.04.
All existing packaged gimp addons are not compatible with the new
version.
Therefore, please remove the following packages:
- cbmplugs
- gimp-gap
- gimp-plugin-registry
- gimplensfun
- gimp-texturize
All have already been removed from Debian Testing but not from
Unstable yet.

Some gimp plugins are shipped by default by Ubuntu Studio. I already
got approval from Erich at the Ubuntu Summit 2024 for switching to
gimp3 and I'll send him a note about this particular detail.
