Bug description:
[Impact]
The meters in Meterbridge are not redrawn correctly. This is due to a
change in libsdl. As such, users are seeing lines after the meter
shows any activity which can, over time, appear illegible, affecting
usability. See attached screenshot.
[Test Case]
As this is a JACK application, either:
* Run Ubuntu Studio 25.04's live iso or any Ubuntu Studio 25.04
installation
-or-
* Install ubuntustudio-pipewire-config to install required JACK
configurations for pipewire to get it to properly use the pipewire-
jack interface.
* Install meterbridge and patchance
* Run meterbridge
* Run patchance
* Attach a wire via dragging from the monitor of your default audio
device to the input on meterbridge.
* Have your system make a sound (volume control or youtube video) and
watch the needle on the meterbridge window.
EXPECTED: No ghost lines
ACTUAL: Ghost lines appear where needle once was.
[What could go wrong]
It's possible this patch just plain doesn't work or further refinement
is needed, and this patch might just cause meterbridge to not run.
This has, however, been tested to work on Ubuntu Studio 25.04.
