[Bug 2115431] Re: Incorrect application version is shown in the application

reported upstream to Debian.

Bug description:
Refer to the attached screenshots, the application shows as version
"0" in the splash screen and the about dialog.
In the terminal output, however, the version string is "0.0.0".
