[Bug 2127654] Re: Installing ubuntu, Something Went Wrong dialog pops up, says to report the issue here
Thanks for your report - do you have access to the /var/log/installer
directory and can provide the log files from there?
I'm adding ubuntustudio to this bug, since it seems ubuntu-bug isn't
working as intended there.
** Also affects: ubuntustudio

Bug description:
Installation of 24.04.3 using latest version of ventoy on new Acer
Aspire Go 15 with amd ryzen 7 5825U cpu is failing with a "Something
went wrong" error dialog prompting me to send an automated bug report
by running "sudo ubuntu-bug ubuntu-desktop-bootstrap" which apparently
fails (see below)
ubuntu-studio@ubuntu-studio:~$ sudo ubuntu-bug ubuntu-desktop-bootstrap
QStandardPaths: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set, defaulting to '/tmp/runtime-root'
dpkg-query: no packages found matching ubuntu-desktop-bootstrap
/usr/bin/xdg-open: 611: kfmclient: not found
/usr/bin/xdg-open: 491: test: Illegal number:
/usr/bin/xdg-open: 492: test: Illegal number:
/usr/bin/xdg-open: 493: test: Illegal number:
The alternative listed in the error dialog says to "report the issue"
here, so I created an account and am reporting the issue. Sorry I
can't supply more information about the problem, but none was given.
