[Bug 778498] Re: failed to load session "gnome"

I'm currently running UGR on Ubuntu 11.04 (amd64) final with the "dev
channel" repository enabled along with the standard UGR repositories.

I just did a 'apt-get dist-upgrade' which, among other things, upgraded
'gnome-session' and 'gnome-session-common' to 3.0.1-0ubuntu1~build2. I
restarted and had no problems logging in. In fact the time from login to
an actual usable Gnome 3 desktop has been greatly reduced as before this
recent update it took several seconds from login to usable desktop.
After this recent update the time has been cut down to only 2 to 4
seconds.

As I said, I've added the new "dev" channel repo so perhaps that's the
reason I'm not experiencing the error? And just as a suggestion, in
order to make these bug reports more informative some basic information
should be added such as the Ubuntu build (64 or 32 bit) which was in
this case, and whether or not the "dev channel" repo has been enabled
or not.
