[Bug 534915] Re: Czech translations in Ukrainian kpackagekit translation

Please folks, let's try to keep the tone down. I can understand the
frustration when translations are changed with no good reason, but let's
try to avoid using words such as vandalization before having
investigated what's actually happened.

As I can see it, there are onyl 3 ways in which translations can be
changed:

1. Translations submitted upstream
2. Packaging bug (translations from another language are pulled from KDE's svn)
3. Translations submitted in Launchpad

>From those, we can already discard #3. Looking at Lukas' Launchpad
profile at https://launchpad.net/~lukas-kde, we can see that he is not a
member of any Launchpad teams, which does not allow him to submit any
translations. The Ukranian translators team has a moderated subscription
policy, which means that members have to be accepted before being able
to submit translations, and only those in the team will be able to do
so.

I'll now investigate #1 and #2.

Bug description:
Binary package hint: kpackagekit

Ukrainian Kpackagekit translation [1] is regularly vandalized by the submission of Czech translation (by LT [2]).

Ukrainian and Czech languages are very different. It will be hard for Ukrainian user to understand it.

Please stop this vandalization from happening.
